I mean it's Ikea what can I say, the gentleman didn't charge me for my drink and dessert so that was a plus as well as the price of the food. Clean and fast service. There is a great view while your eating and the dinning area is clean

I was at the restaurant on 05/07/23. This IKEA South Philadelphia doesn’t have the same food as in other IKEA restaurants. The meatballs were either overcooked or yesterday. The fruit salad was spoiled. I am a truck driver, I go to eat at IKEA restaurant very often in all states. All restaurants always provide quality, standard and tasty food, but this restaurant disappointed me:(

Used to go to IKEA before pandemic it was fine. Now no more breakfast at all. Seems like they're short-staffed. After we waited in line which took forever we had to go get our table that they pull for us and it took another half an hour to 45 minutes for that. Cafe didn't have any sticky buns and hot dog specials at the cafe is too hot dogs soda and a bag of chips for 350 now.

I enjoy going here because they have great design floor plan and it is right across the street from an old ocean liner which when you're in the restaurant you get a sense of adventure looking out the window

I always enjoy my visits to IKEA. They always have what I'm looking for, and I usually go home with a few thing I didn't even know I needed. The cafe is great for a quick breakfast or lunch, and you can't beat the value.

This review is based on three recent visits to the Ikea restaurant. The first two visits (on weekdays) were fine. It's hard to beat this place for a quick inexpensive meal. Their salmon dishes and Swedish meatballs are great. They also have very good soups, salads and deserts. The coffee is at best, mediocre. My third visit, on a Saturday afternoon was extremely disappointing. It seems that at least on this day, the restaurant was severely understaffed. The self serve salad and desert cases were nearly empty, they ran out of clean drinking glasses, there were no forks, the coffee machines were completely empty, and the entire dining area was filthy. Every unoccupied table was an absolute mess. Two stars for the restaurant, one extra star for the amazing view of the SS United States. 4/2023 - Our last two visits were much more pleasant. Previous issues seemed to have been resolved.
